Spring Break...
There is no one. I stand alone.
We must reject the ideology of the "achievement gap" that absolves adults of their responsibility and implies student culpability in continued under-performance. The student achievement gap is merely the effect of a much larger and more debilitating chasm: The Educator Achievement Gap. We must erase the distance between the type of teachers we are, and the type of teachers they need us to be.

where have you been brunching (now a verb)?
hmm, yeah, I could probably give you a run for your money on #1, and maybe #3, but I totally lose on #2. can I just say that I HATE the last day before going back to school, and that this one is particularly bad?
PHC-
The obvious answer is Boogaloo's, (Val.& 22) but sometimes I am not accessorized enough to wait on the corner. So then the Ebb Tide (the unlikely corner of S.Van Ness & 26) or Atlas (which we've previously discussed). Add in Chava's (Mission & 24) for a little Mexican flair and some machaca con heuvos. As you can see, I roll in the Deep Mission. Not Outer, Deep.
Ms. F:
How is that all the work I was supposed to grade a little at a time is instead completely ungraded? How is it that I allowed this to happen (again)? I give up.
Boogaloo's is my all-time favorite, but the wait makes me crazy. Yum, biscuits & herb gravy.
Try our own St. Francis Old Fashioned Candy Store on 24th & York. Delicious, and milkshakes to boot.
St. Francis, yes indeed. They serve some of the best maccaroni and cheese I have ever eaten.
